The Los Angeles-based movie and music store has recently twice screened the antisemitic film “Israelism” with the problematic IfNotNow organization. They closed for a day in “solidarity” with Palestine, stating: “Our shop will be closed for our normal hours tomorrow, Friday 10/20, in solidarity with Palestine and the global call for ceasefire. We take this opportunity to express that we do not support our taxes being sent to fund apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide – 3.8 billion annually with much, much more on the near horizon.”

In December they will be airing another movie, Wedding in Galilee, which portrays “Palestinian life under Israeli occupation” with proceeds donated to¬†“Palestine Legal, an organization that helps protect the civil and constitutional rights of people who speak out for Palestinian freedom.”
