The Culver City (Los Angeles)-based retail store, owned by an Iranian Jew whose family fled the oppressive and violent regime in Iran, was vandalized with hate speech in early December.

Soon after the atrocities of October 7th, MeUndies Founder and CEO Jonathan Shokrian wrote in a statement on Instagram: “Israel has been on the frontlines of fighting terrorism on behalf of the free world for decades, and we should express our gratitude towards them. I extend my condolences to all who have lost their lives, including those in Palestine. I am saddened, angered, and confused about how people can justify what happened this week and not unequivocally condemn these heinous acts… Hamas and Iran do not value human life or peace; they celebrate death and destruction for anyone who does not support their radical ideology.”
